About us

SwissSign Group has two cornerstones: identity services under the brand SwissID and certificate services under the brand SwissSign. SwissID is the digital identity of Switzerland which enables simple and secure access to the online world. Thanks to electronic certificates, data can be exchanged in encrypted form and therefore protected against unauthorised access. Your new challenge

As an experienced DevOps engineer, you drive automation and standardization and act as a link between the application development and infrastructure teams. You solve incidents skillfully and ensure the highest availability of our applications. You will be a competent sparring partner for the development team when it comes to using the Kubernetes platform and setting up our Gitlab-based build pipelines. You will also help us define and implement standards to increase the efficiency and reliability of our modern infrastructure.

What you bring along

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with DevOps approaches (technical as well as organizational).
  • Strong knowledge of configuration and automation tools
  • Hands-on experience in virtualization, containerization, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes preferred)
  • Proficiency with continuous integration tools and processes (GitLab) or knowledge of configuring a web application firewall (WAF)
  • Strong skills in structured troubleshooting and problem solving, even in new terrain
  • Several years of experience with Linux
  • Team player as well as communicative personality with very good English skills (spoken and written), German skills are a plus
